Been awhile since our last RebelliousArt release, so here's one for you guys today. Although Risky Safety's listed as a RA project, it's actually really cute o.o Today features a story with Momotarou and a cute demon who looks like Lum. Oh my. What shall happen?

Thanks Guys

I read through all of your comments and I'm happy to say that we'll continue both projects. I was never quite sure if people really cared about quality or just wanted fast releases, thus I made that last post. I have considered contacting the other group before but thought against it because it's too much of a pain. I'd have to actually join their forum and risk getting kicked off. Anyway, we'll ignore them and continue our releases at our pace. It's good to know that people are still reading our stuff despite possible repeats. Thanks for all your encouragement. It's hearing things like that that make this job more fun :) To show you my appreciation, I bring you the next chapter of Daa! Daa! Daa!

Releases:

Recently, it has been brought to our attention that another group has picked up two of our projects: Daa! Daa! Daa! and Saint Dragon Girl. Not only is it obvious that they know of us, but they have used our releases as a starting point for theirs. This means that after our hard work of getting as far as volume 5 for Daa! Daa! Daa! and volume 3 for Saint Dragon Girl, the group goes and starts their own work at where we left off. 5 or 3 volumes may not seem like much, but it is if you look at the quality we provide and the time we put in. As one of our staff members said, "It's like they're slapping at our faces," and I agree. We have no real claim over the projects, so if they want to scanlate the projects, I can't really stop them. However, they should at least have the courtesy to start from the beginning. Starting from where we left off is plain rude and shows a disregard to the effort we put in. It's not like we haven't released either projects in a long time either nor have dropped the projects. Quite frankly, it is things like these that make me really frustrated and want to quit. Neither I nor any other staff member enjoy working hard on something only to get little appreciation and "a slap on the face."

I have never quite understood why people create new groups only to do projects another group is already doing. It is a pointless waste of time for both groups. If it's because they have problems with our speed, why not just help us out rather than start a new group? It would save both sides extra work. I *have* also been spamming our releases with help wanted ads, so I think it's a given we're looking for help.

To clarify why we seem so slow, let me list some reasons:
1. We have currently a lot of projects, so to not stall them, we have to rotate projects.
2. We have very few active staff. We have less than 5 active editors and less than 5 active translators.
3. All of our shoujo projects are very hard to edit (Saint Dragon Girl especially with at least 1-2 crazy spread pages in each chapter).
4. We have been trying to provide high quality work despite the staff shortage, thus slowing releases down even more.

Personally, I wouldn't really mind dropping both projects since I've grown out of them. However, since this is not really my decision to make, I'll leave it up to you guys, the readers. If you guys want us to continue the project(s), I'm willing to continue as if nothing happened. However, if you do prefer the speed that the other group seems to have, I will drop the project(s) so we can focus on our other stuff. Please comment! Show your appreciation/voice your opinions. We need all the support we can get right now.
